Prices of maize rose in the benchmark market of Nizamabad, Telangana, due to lower supplies, as farmers are selling their crop at government procurement centres. Arrivals in the market around 80 tn, down 40 tn from 25 Sep. Arrivals are expected to go down further as the government is procuring at higher prices.
