Government may start selling pulses from its buffer stock by floating tenders under the open market sales scheme. Govt may sell the early acquired crop and keep the rest for its reserve. The sales in open market will begin after the government procurement of pulses gets over across the country. The ministry has also urged states governments to lift pulses from the buffer stock.
