The hailstorm on Sunday is likely to have damaged standing crops of wheat among others in parts of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. In Maharashtra, the hailstorm is likely to have caused damage to horticulture crops and some rabi crops. In Madhya Pradesh, the hailstorm and lightning have caused damage to wheat, pigeon pea, and gram crops, official said. Both the states have asked officials to take stock of the damage and submit report.
