In the course of a visit of a Kazakh delegation to the Islamic Republic of Iran, the parties discussed the possibility of lifting restrictions on Kazakh wheat imports and cancelling the flag tax by the Iranian government in order to create equal terms for Kazakh and Iranian shipping companies in the Caspian sea. During the talks, the heads of the relevant agencies agreed on the possible launch of joint investment projects for growing and processing rice and priority oilseeds with their further export to Iran via Caspian sea ports.
