Rice basmati prices went down at the wholesale grains market owing to slackened demand. Traders said, besides easing demand from stockists, adequate stocks position on increased arrivals from producing belts mainly weighed on the rice basmati prices. Increased offtake by flour mills, however helped wheat prices to trade higher.
