ICE raw sugar at 30-month low on high global supplies.

Futures contracts of raw sugar on ICE hit a fresh 30-month low of 11.52 cents per pound due to high global supplies. Bumper production in key producers like Brazil, India and Thailand are weighing on international prices. Brazil’s output number is higher and India is also likely to have a glut this year as well as next year. USDA has estimated sugar output in Thailand to rise 36% on year.
