National Cooperative Dairy Federation of India has bought 1,500 tn de-oiled rice bran at 1,490 rupees per 100 kg and 300 tn of rice polish at 1,848 rupees per 100 kg through an online auction. The commodities, are bought on behalf of the Erode Co-operative Milk Producers’ Union. National Cooperative Dairy Federation of India, which has nearly 200 dairy cooperatives as members, has developed an online trading platform to purchase feed stock and sell dairy products.
