Prices of coriander were largely unchanged in the key wholesale market of Kota, as trade is subdued. Arrivals are currently low. Around 7,000-8,000 bags, each carrying 40 kg of the spice, were brought to the market, lower than the 10,000-bag level a week ago. Farmers are bringing in less coriander as they are busy sowing kharif crops such as soybean. Subdued trade in the futures contracts on the NCDEX also kept spot prices flat.
