Chhattisgarh CM distributes Rs. 73.49 crores paddy bonus.

Chief Minister Raman Singh distributed Rs 73.49 crore paddy bonus to about 48,883 farmers as part of Bonus Festival held at Gariaband district headquarters. Singh also dedicated and laid foundation stones of 49 developmental works worth Rs 229 crore. Chief Minister said that State Government would stand by farmers during all calamities. Paddy bonus is being distributed in the entire State. The farmers of the drought-affected districts will be financially compensated soon. Apart from this, farmers will be compensated under the provisions of Prime Minister Crop Insurance Scheme. There is a total transformation of Gariaband district. All State Government offices had been opened here. New buildings had been constructed. The local citizens need not go to the State capital to get their works done. The decisions are being taken in the district itself. Farmers toil hard to produce food grains on their farms and authorities have decided to pay the farmers back with Minimum Support Price (MSP) and bonus also.
