Chana prices were up due to good demand from domestic buyers. Chana prices are expected to stay in the Rs 4,500 to 5,000 per 100 kg range throughout harvest in March and April 2022. Farmers are advised to sell Chana as soon as possible after harvest (at MSP centres at APMCs) rather than storing it. On Wednesday, the DAE of the JAU presented a price forecast report.
NAFED has confirmed auctions in the range of 4,655 rupees per 100 kg on March 02 in Madhya Pradesh (Rabi 2020). In Rajasthan the range of 4,703 – 4,732 rupees per 100 kg.
