CBOT wheat up over 2% on tornado forecast in US.

Wheat futures rise over 2% on CBOT due to a forecast of storms and possible tornadoes in midwestern US. September wheat contract traded at $5.4725 a bushel, up 2.3% from previous close. Storms may develop northwest of Minneapolis and move towards Chicago. These storms can produce wind gusts of up to 70 miles per hour, large hails and a few isolated tornadoes. Wheat prices were also supported by concerns that dry weather conditions in eastern US would damage the crop.
